Situated on the western side of the city, Newbridge offers convenient access to Bristol or Bath and shares many characteristics with its neighbouring suburb, Weston. Several highly regarded state schools are close by, including Newbridge Primary School and Oldfield School. Chelsea Road is a busy and popular high street with a number of independent cafes, restaurants, a bakery, hairdresser and a convenience shop. Regular bus links run into the city centre, and also out towards Bristol on the A4.
