Oldfield Park is a popular residential area to the south of the city centre, at the heart of which is Moorland Road - a bustling high street with a number of fantastic independent shops and restaurants. Linear Park is a ribbon of countryside through the region, popular with cyclist and joggers, and was originally part of the Somerset and Dorset Railway Line. The ward has its own railway station and boasts a number of excellent schools including Hayesfield Girls School, and Oldfield Park Junior School.
