Badminton is a picturesque, historic village located approximately 15 miles north of Bath, close to Junction 18 of the M4 Motorway. The village is renowned for its world-famous Badminton Horse Trials, held each May in the grounds of Badminton House, the principal seat of the Duke of Beaufort since the late 17th century. In addition to the horse trials, Badminton House hosts a variety of seasonal events, including RHS Badminton Garden Show, open garden days, craft and cooking workshops, and other special activities throughout the year. The village itself has a small high street with a convenience store and post office, while offering easy access to nearby towns such as Cirencester, Bath, and Bristol.
